HVAC Service Agreements and Service Plans
Just like your car, your heating and air system needs routine maintenance checks. During a routine maintenance check our experienced technicians will do the following...
A clean system is critical for proper operation, once the coils become dirty the coil to air heat exchange changes, this causes the compressor and the entire system to work harder. Naturally working harder means using more electricity to operate and more breakdowns.
- Check for correct amount of refrigerant
- Test for refrigerant leaks using a leak detector
- Check for and seal duct leakage in central systems
- Measure airflow through the evaporator coil
- Verify the correct electric control sequence and make sure that the heating system and cooling system cannot operate simultaneously (this sounds crazy but happens all the time!)
- Inspect electric terminals, clean and tighten connections, and apply a non-conductive coating if necessary
- Oil motors and check belts for tightness and wear
- Check the accuracy of the thermostat.
